Dark red in the glass. The nose has attractive notes of blackberry with a smoky, eucalyptus angle. The palate has crunchy fruit with a dark side of tannin towards the finish, which is crunchy and fresh. Great with a lamb râgout with olives and peppers, loin of venison with a coriander crust and Provencal vegetables or sautéed veal à la Provencal with plenty of garlic and fresh rosemary.
