The robe is pale cloudy yellow. The nose is delicate, greedy, on pear, apple, a hint of spice and a hint of wet chalk. The palate is round, fresh, thirst-quenching, with many wriggling bubbles and a fine lemony bitterness reminiscent of an IPA beer. The latter is even more marked on the finish, underlined by a noble chalky astringency, with a persistence on green apple and lemon.
